Learn it

Practice it
Build a session by body system and question type, answer, and read a rationale that names why the right option is right and why each other option is wrong. Timed sessions build the pacing a fixed-length paper demands.
Remember it
Flashcards are asked as questions, carry their rationale, and end with Again / Hard / Good / Easy so the next session knows what to bring back. Write your own cards into My Cards for the facts you keep missing.

NMBI assesses your qualification and experience first. Recognition and registration are two separate stages, and the assessment outcome — not a fixed national syllabus — determines what you must do next.
Where NMBI identifies significant differences from Irish requirements, it may require a compensation measure. Some applicants are recognised without one, so treat your own decision letter as the authority.
NMBI states that applicants in the General Nurses and Psychiatric Nurses divisions may choose between a period of adaptation and an aptitude test. Applicants in other divisions complete a period of adaptation, because an aptitude test is not offered to them.
Adaptation is assessed in supervised practice and the RCSI aptitude test in theory and OSCE stations, but both are judged against Irish standards of safe practice — the same reasoning our lessons and questions build.
There is no single universal Irish nursing entry examination, and an aptitude test is not required of every applicant. This page explains the possibilities and sends you to your decision letter and NMBI's current guidance for the answer.
Fees, test dates, processing times, adaptation length and eligibility thresholds change. They are deferred to NMBI and RCSI rather than copied here, where they would quietly go stale.
NurseNest does not yet publish an Ireland-specific question bank, readiness dashboard or Irish subscription. What is offered here is NMBI route guidance plus the general clinical study platform, and the page says so.
Lessons and questions are monitored against the guidelines they were written from and withdrawn from delivery when a source materially changes, rather than left to drift.
